This piece was loom-woven with manual manipulation. Two yarns were used in the warp: blue cotton and a textured grey cotton-blend. A buttonhole was created through the incorporation of a discontinued weft manipulation in the top center of the piece. To enclose the sides, extra warp was hand-woven to connect the edges and thus create the shape of the clutch.
I chose this fossilized-looking button to compliment the colors and stripe pattern of the woven clutch.
